Test phase terms (draft under review)

What this is about
From 9 November 2026, Bummly runs a closed test phase with a small group. Taking part is voluntary and free of charge, and you can stop at any time.
Provider
The provider of the test phase is André Hoffmann und Dr. Katrin Hoffmann (Bummly GbR in Gründung). Contact details and provider information are in the imprint.
Minimum age
You must be at least 16 years old to take part.
Test version
Bummly is a test version. Errors are possible, and features may change or be removed. The app may require updates to keep working.
Your own responsibility on the way
Routes are based on OpenStreetMap data and may be incomplete or out of date. Watch out yourself for traffic, weather, darkness, dogs, prams and wheelchairs. Signs and access rules always come first.
Liability
Statutory liability for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health remains unaffected. Otherwise, liability for the test phase is limited to the extent permitted by law. [Legal review pending]
Feedback
What you send via "Report a problem" or in ratings may be used by Bummly to improve Bummly. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy notice.
Confidentiality
Until Bummly launches publicly, please do not share screenshots or details of the test version publicly. This keeps the test phase useful for everyone. Thank you!
Thanks to testers
As a thank-you, testers may receive benefits, such as access to Plus. This is a voluntary service with no entitlement and may change at any time.
Invitation codes
Invitation codes are personal. They apply only to the invited person and to the agreed number of devices.
End of the test phase
Bummly may end the test phase or block individual access, for example in case of misuse.
